The challenge
The Modena Local Health Authority (AUSL) aimed to optimise the management of sterilisation and traceability of surgical instruments in a complex context, consisting of numerous locations distributed throughout the territory.
The main requirement was to implement an economical, scalable and interoperable system capable of ensuring efficient access from all facilities and integrating with existing information systems.

Proposed solution
Promedital implemented the SIXSTER platform for the Modena Local Health Authority, offered in SaaS (Software as a Service) mode, and introduced SUIS – Intelligent Packaging Table as an experimental proposal, a technology that has been very well received in the company’s operational environment.
